GranTech Accessibility Audit scans your WordPress site for WCAG 2.2 compliance issues and generates the legally required Accessibility Statement in the format mandated by Spanish law (RD 1112/2018) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA, effective June 2025).

Technical notes
The plugin uses static HTML analysis, which covers approximately 70% of the automated WCAG 2.2 rules. It clearly documents this limitation so you never get a false sense of compliance: automated tools cannot detect every accessibility barrier, and full conformance always requires a manual review by an accessibility expert.

Does this plugin guarantee legal compliance?

No. Automated scanners can detect approximately 30–40% of WCAG criteria. Full compliance requires a manual audit by an accessibility expert. The plugin documents this limitation clearly.

Is this an overlay like UserWay or AccessiBe?

No. This plugin analyses and reports real accessibility problems. It does not inject JavaScript to cosmetically hide issues. The Accessibility Statement it generates documents actual compliance status.

Which version of WCAG does it support?

WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA. This is the version referenced by EN 301 549 v3.2.1 and required by the European Accessibility Act.

Does this plugin send any data to external servers?

No. The scanner only fetches pages from your own website (the same domain WordPress is installed on) in order to analyse them. No data about you, your site, or your visitors is ever sent to GranTech or any third party. The plugin does not track usage and has no analytics. The only outbound links are documentation links (to w3.org) that open when you click them.

Where is the source code?

The full, unminified source code is included in the plugin itself. The PHP, JavaScript and CSS shipped in the download are the source — there is no build or compilation step, and no minified or obfuscated files. You can read and modify every file directly.
