Go to Plugins -> Add New 2. Search for “Customize Private & Protected” 3. Install the plugin 4. Activate it Through FTP: Download the plugin Unzip customize-private-protected.zip and upload the folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress ## SSS ### How to use? After activation, use the WordPress Theme customizer (Dashboard > Appearance > Customize OR “Theme Customizer” in the WP admin bar). Seems that most recent methods to do this no longer work, however this plugin allowed me to hide the “Private” prefix on private pages and posts. Haven’t tested the other features it offers yet, but the main purpose I intended to do with it just works.
