Media Bulk Download (Lite) lets you pick multiple files in the Media Library and download them as a single ZIP.
- Works in Grid and List views
- Adds a “Download as ZIP” bulk action (List) and a toolbar button (Grid)
- Nonce + capability checks and path validation for security
- Lite limits (to keep it fair):
- Up to 10 files per ZIP
- 2-minute cooldown between zips
- 5 ZIPs/day per user

How it works
- Go to Media Library
- Select files (Grid or List)
- Click Download as ZIP
- A single ZIP is prepared and downloaded

Note: The Lite version enforces limits (10 files per ZIP, 2-minute cooldown, 5 zips/day). Upgrade to Pro for unlimited usage.

- Install from Plugins Add New, search for “Media Bulk Download (Lite)”
- Activate the plugin
- Go to Media Library
- Select your files and click Download as ZIP

- Grid view: a “Download as ZIP” button appears in the upper toolbar once you select items.
- List view: use the Bulk actions dropdown Download as ZIP.

What are the Lite limits?

- Max 10 files per ZIP
- 2 minutes between ZIP generations
- 5 ZIPs/day per user
These are enforced to keep the Lite plugin fair and stable. The Pro version removes limits.

Does it respect user capabilities?

Yes. Only users with
upload_filescapability can generate ZIPs. -
Does it change or move media files?

No. Files are read and streamed into a ZIP; nothing is altered in your library.
