The plugin settings page includes a screenshot of this screen.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20is%20the%20widget%20not%20showing%20on%20my%20site%3F\"><h3>Why is the widget not showing on my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Check the following:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The widget is <strong>enabled<\/strong> in Settings \u2192 Chatwik.<\/li>\n<li>A valid <strong>Website Token<\/strong> is saved.<\/li>\n<li>Your WordPress site domain is listed under <strong>Allowed domains<\/strong> in the Chatwik Website channel configuration.<\/li>\n<li>You are viewing the public frontend (not the WordPress admin).<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20use%20a%20self-hosted%20chatwik%20instance%3F\"><h3>Can I use a self-hosted Chatwik instance?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>This plugin connects to Chatwik Cloud at <code>https:\/\/app.chatwik.com<\/code>. Custom instance URLs are not supported in this version.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20this%20plugin%20send%20data%20to%20third%20parties%3F\"><h3>Does this plugin send data to third parties?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The plugin stores your settings in WordPress and loads the Chatwik widget script from Chatwik Cloud when enabled. It does not send analytics or usage data to Chatwik independently of the widget itself.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20hide%20the%20chat%20bubble%20until%20i%20open%20it%20from%20a%20button%3F\"><h3>Can I hide the chat bubble until I open it from a button?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Enable <strong>Hide message bubble on load<\/strong> in the settings, then use the Chatwik JavaScript SDK methods to open the widget from your theme or custom code.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20does%20%22identify%20logged-in%20users%22%20do%3F\"><h3>What does \"Identify logged-in users\" do?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>When enabled, a logged-in WordPress user's name and email are automatically passed to the chat widget, so they don't need to type them into the pre-chat form. If the site runs WooCommerce and the customer has a phone number on file, that's included too. This is off by default and has no effect on WooCommerce or its data if the store doesn't use it \u2014 it only reads the current WordPress user's own account fields.
