Klasik düzenleyici

Açıklama

Classic Editor is an official plugin maintained by the WordPress team that restores the previous (“classic”) WordPress editor and the “Edit Post” screen. It makes it possible to use plugins that extend that screen, add old-style meta boxes, or otherwise depend on the previous editor.

Classic Editor is an official WordPress plugin, and will be fully supported and maintained until at least 2022, or as long as is necessary.

At a glance, this plugin adds the following:

  • Administrators can select the default editor for all users.
  • Administrators can allow users to change their default editor.
  • When allowed, the users can choose which editor to use for each post.
  • Each post opens in the last editor used regardless of who edited it last. This is important for maintaining a consistent experience when editing content.

In addition, the Classic Editor plugin includes several filters that let other plugins control the settings, and the editor choice per post and per post type.

By default, this plugin hides all functionality available in the new Block Editor (“Gutenberg”).

Ekran Görüntüleri

  • Admin settings on the Settings -> Writing screen.
  • User settings on the Profile screen. Visible when the users are allowed to switch editors.
  • "Action links" to choose alternative editor. Visible when the users are allowed to switch editors.
  • Link to switch to the Block Editor while editing a post in the Klasik düzenleyici. Visible when the users are allowed to switch editors.
  • Link to switch to the Klasik düzenleyici while editing a post in the Block Editor. Visible when the users are allowed to switch editors.
  • Network setting to allow site admins to change the default options.

Essential

Many thanks ! Essential to let users choose the editor they want to get used to it gradually, in addition to the fact that Guttenberg, poor man, is not able to save the articles (yes both site and WP URLs are the same). I hope this issue will be fixed soon. Thus I will be able to see if the new editor doesn't break the ACF plugin.

Necessary

The WP devs clearly did not do enough user testing on Gutenberg, choosing to push something on users they did not want. Gutenberg should not be the WP default, it should be an optional plugin if users choose it for their sites. Thankfully this plugin exists to correct their error.

What a relief!

Thanks Chuck Norris! Message for WordPress team: If you will keep Gutenburg and remove Classic Editor, I will remove all my sites. And I think I will not be the only one.

OMG THANK YOU!!!!

I was really getting tired of Gutenberg.. Started to look at alternative to WP cuz it made simple editing a LONG PROCESS with buttons I need no where to be found.. since everything just scrolls up with Gutenberg. And I found this plugin that restores everything back to normal. thank you!!!

Thank You!

Ever since the 5.0 update with the block editor, everyone at my company has been complaining about WordPress. With this plugin, everyone is much MUCH happier. Thank you.
