Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/customizable-dark-mode-toggle directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.

I installed the Dark Mode plugin yesterday and it works really well. The activation is quick, and switching between light and dark mode feels smooth.
