Sukar puts a live chat on your WordPress site with an AI assistant that has read your website. It answers visitors in seconds, day and night, helps them pick the right product, and brings in your team when a person is needed. This plugin connects your site to your Sukar.io account, with no code editing.

An AI assistant that sells, not just answers

• Trained on your own site. Sukar reads your pages, FAQs and products, so answers come from your real prices, shipping and return policies — not generic guesses.
• Knows your WooCommerce catalog. It recommends products from your store with photos, prices and links, and talks about the product the shopper is looking at.
• Helps close the sale. It can share your discount codes and offers, answer last-minute questions, and reach out to shoppers who are about to leave the cart page.
• Captures leads. When someone is interested but not ready, it asks for their email so your team can follow up.

How it works

1. Sign up free at sukar.io and add your website.
2. Install this plugin from Plugins > Add New (search for “Sukar Live Chat”) and activate it.
3. Open Sukar Chat in the admin sidebar, paste your Widget Key and click Connect.

External services

This plugin connects your site to Sukar.io, a third-party live chat service. It is required for the plugin to work. Nothing is loaded until you enter a Widget Key.

When a Widget Key is set, every front-end page loads the chat widget script from https://api.sukar.io/widget.js (or the API URL set under Advanced settings). The widget then connects to the Sukar.io servers to send and receive chat messages.

The following data is sent to Sukar.io:

• Your Widget Key and the address of the page the visitor is on, every time a page loads.
• Messages the visitor types in the chat, and any name or email they give in the chat.
• If Auto-identify users is on (default) and the visitor is logged in to WordPress: their display name and email address.
• If WooCommerce tracking is on (default) and WooCommerce is active: the product being viewed (ID, name, price, URL, currency) and the cart total and item count.
• On the WooCommerce order confirmation (“order received”) page: the order number, order total and currency, so you can see what each visitor bought. The page address is sent without its query string, so order keys are not shared.

Both options can be turned off under Sukar Chat > Advanced settings.
